Established in 2024, Lowrys Countryside Campground & RV Park is a privately-owned campground near Chester, SC, that was thoughtfully-designed for folks who enjoy the adventure of the open road as well as the quiet of the countryside. Come stay with us!
Quiet & Convenient
Our Location
We’re located on 25 acres surrounded by pine forest and farmland. Five minutes away is the Town of Lowrys, South Carolina, an agricultural community that is home to Cotton Hills Farm and famous for the annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade.
Ten minutes in the opposite direction is the City of Chester, South Carolina. Founded in 1785, the city was named after Chester County, PA – where many early settlers hailed from – and deliberately set up along key trade routes. Aaron Burr, who infamously killed Alexander Hamilton in a duel in 1804, was captured near Chester in 1807. Today, Chester offers more history lessons and a number of great restaurants.
Our proximity to Interstate 77 gives our guests quick access to Rock Hill, Fort Mill and Brattonsville in South Carolina and Charlotte in North Carolina. From skydiving and ziplining to riding rollercoasters, whitewater rafting and hiking, there is so much to do in our area.

We’re seasoned travelers – we understand what you’re looking for and we’re thrilled to provide it! Our clean, modern park, ideal for both short-term stays and a long term RV park experience, offers 20 feet between RV sites (each of which is 30 feet by 80 feet), a bath house and laundry facilities, a designated area for primitive tent camping, and a volleyball court, dog park, and a fire ring.
We’re excited to add several resort-style amenities in the future. Watch this space!
